A Matter of Balance

A Matter of Balance

A Matter of Balance at TU Meeting Room

Many older adults worry about falls and end up limiting the activities they enjoy. This evidence-based program helps participants understand fall risks, build confidence, and stay physically active. Over eight consecutive Wednesday mornings, you'll participate in fall risk assessments, group discussions, educational sessions, problem-solving activities, and gentle physical exercises. The program is led by Amanda Rudderman, a Fall Prevention Coordinator at VCU Medical Center, who brings professional expertise to each session. This is an online program, so you'll join from home via a link sent to you after registration. All participants need to sign a waiver before starting, which will be emailed to you ahead of time. Registration enrolls you for the complete eight-week series, not individual sessions. This program is designed for older adults interested in reducing fall risk and maintaining an active lifestyle. To register, you'll need to provide your name, email, and phone number.
