Build-A-Bot Library Workshop Series

Kids ages 8 to 12 are invited to join this hands-on robotics workshop at the Montpelier Branch Library. This month's challenge: building a reptile robot that you'll get to take home. The workshop runs for one hour and includes real tools, sensors, and small parts—so participants need decent fine motor skills and grip strength to handle the tiny screws and wires involved. This is part of an ongoing series where kids work alongside other young builders, getting experience with actual STEM tools and techniques. Spots are limited, so registration is required before attending. If your child has any special physical or communication needs, reach out to the library at ask@pamunkeylibrary.org or call 804-883-5117 for support. Each person attending must be registered individually.
