DinoTrek at Nashville Zoo
DinoTrek adventure at Nashville Zoo—dino fun for all ages.
DinoTrek takes families back in time with nearly 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs positioned along a scenic path near the zoo's historic home. Kids will encounter over 20 different species, including towering creatures like a 23-foot brachiosaurus and the iconic T-Rex. These impressive animatronics hiss, spit, move, and roar, creating an immersive journey through the prehistoric world. The exhibit runs through late July and features some dinosaurs reaching over 20 feet tall and weighing more than 5,000 pounds.
Entry to DinoTrek costs $5 per person (free for children under 2) and requires a separate ticket beyond regular zoo admission or membership. Tickets can be purchased online, at Entry Village, or near the exhibit itself, and each ticket is good for one visit anytime during the run. If your child is sensitive to movement or loud sounds, sensory-friendly experiences are offered from 9–10 a.m. on select dates, with a social story available online to help kids prepare beforehand.
