These vibrant, imaginative creatures showcase the exceptional skill of cartoneros from Mexico City. Along the way, you'll learn what makes each figure special—from the stories behind their designs to the cultural significance woven into Mexican folk art traditions. This is a casual, drop-in experience perfect for families and adults interested in exploring art and cultural heritage together. Just show up and join in (spots fill on a first-come basis, limited to 25 people). Wear comfortable clothes suited for outdoor walking and bring water. Garden members get in free; non-members pay regular admission. No advance sign-up needed. The tour happens rain or shine, though it may be canceled only if weather turns severe.
