Franken-Prints

Learn 3D printing and upcycle failed prints into quirky art at the library.

Curious about how 3D printing works? At this hands-on event in the Teen Area, young people will get an introduction to the library's 3D printer and learn about the technology behind it. The best part? Participants then get to be creative with failed 3D prints and craft supplies to design their own unique "Franken-print" sculpture or artwork. This activity welcomes both middle and high school teens and combines learning with making. It's a great way to explore emerging technology while having fun with a creative project. All materials are provided, so your teen just needs to bring their imagination.
