From Scratch: Granola

Learn to make granola from scratch at the library—a fun cooking class for kids.

This hands-on cooking class breaks down the intimidation factor and shows kids that making food from scratch is totally manageable. During this session, tweens will learn the basics of creating homemade granola—a simple, satisfying project that builds confidence in the kitchen. It's a great introduction to cooking fundamentals without requiring advanced skills or fancy techniques. Parents and caregivers should know that you'll need to supervise your child during the program, especially regarding what they eat. If your child has any allergies, make sure to let the staff know ahead of time so they can help keep everyone safe. Registration is required to secure a spot, and you'll receive an email with the online event link once you've signed up. Limited space is available, so register early.
