Improv! for Grades 9-12

Improv! for Grades 9-12

High schoolers play improv games coached by a pro comedian at the library—build confidence and laughs.

This improv workshop invites high school students (grades 9-12) who enjoy performing, storytelling, or just having fun together. Led by a professional improv comedian, participants will learn and play games used in actual improv theaters. The session focuses on building creativity, developing storytelling abilities, and connecting with peers through laughter and collaborative performance. The two-hour session emphasizes teamwork and creative thinking as teens work together to support each other's performances. Whether you're an experienced performer or just looking to try something new, this is a welcoming space to exercise your imagination and develop confidence in a fun, low-pressure environment. Registration is required, with one participant per registration. Eleven seats are available for this online event—the access link will be sent via email after you register.
