Internet Basics: Getting Started

Internet Basics: Getting Started at FA Digital Media Lab

This hands-on class introduces adults to web navigation and internet fundamentals. You'll get a guided tour of the basics, and a class handout is provided so you can review the material ahead of time. The session runs two hours, giving you plenty of time to practice and ask questions in a supportive setting. This class works best if you're already comfortable using a keyboard and mouse. If you need to brush up on those skills first, the library offers a separate Computer Basics class focused on keyboard and mouse skills. Large-type keyboards are available upon request. Registration opens early September, so plan ahead to secure your spot. Reach out to the library directly if you have questions or need more information about what to bring or expect.
