Kids Chess Club

Your child can join other young chess enthusiasts for a casual gathering focused on playing games together. This club welcomes participants at any skill level, so whether your child is just learning the basics or has been playing for a while, they'll find friendly competitors. Keep in mind that this isn't a lesson-based program—kids should already be comfortable with how chess works before attending. The club meets regularly throughout the month at the library's Meeting Room B. Photo and video documentation happens at library events, so be aware your child may appear in pictures taken during the session.
