Library Constitution

Ever wondered what it would take to actually write the rules? This program invites teens to explore what a constitution is and discover the collaborative process behind creating shared guidelines. Participants will learn how groups work together to establish rules that everyone agrees to follow—a hands-on introduction to civics and teamwork. The one-hour session takes place in the West Toledo Library Auditorium and welcomes teens ages 11–17. It's a great fit for kids curious about government, interested in how communities function, or simply looking for an engaging afternoon activity. There's no registration information provided on the event listing, so check with the library directly or visit their website for details on how to sign up.
