Make and Paint Friday! – Downtown

Looking for a creative Friday afternoon activity? Make and Paint Friday brings kids together for open-ended art exploration at the Downtown Art Studio. Children have time and space to experiment with water-based paints, trying out their own ideas without pressure or instruction. It's a relaxed, drop-in style session where kids can be as imaginative as they want. This program works well for children ages 3 and up, and a caregiver is welcome to participate alongside them. The event happens on the last Friday of each month, giving families a regular creative outlet to look forward to. Admission is free with your museum ticket, and all materials are provided. It's a great way to spend a couple of hours if your family enjoys messy, playful art-making.
