Monster Drawing Rally

Watch talented artists work their magic in real time at this lively community art event. Over the course of five and a half hours, 80 local artists—from students to seasoned professionals—will create original artwork right before your eyes. You'll see work happening in rotating one-hour shifts, with artists using watercolor, acrylic, collage, and other media. As each piece is completed, it goes up on the wall for viewing and purchase at $100 per artwork. There's something for everyone here. Kids can participate in a special youth artist shift, and there's a chalkboard wall for creative play. Food vendors will be on-site selling snacks and ice cream. Admission is just $5 (kids are free!), and you don't need to stay the entire time—drop by whenever works for your family. All sales directly support the artists and the gallery's community programming.
