More Magic with Alcohol Inks in Richmond

This three-session class invites you to explore alcohol inks through creative tile painting inspired by the beauty of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Over three Wednesday mornings, you'll learn techniques to transform small tiles into colorful, abstract pieces that capture florals, landscapes, and natural imagery. All materials are provided, and you'll leave with finished tiles ready to hang or gift. No prior experience with alcohol inks or painting is needed—this class welcomes everyone, whether you're trying it for the first time or returning for new tips and tricks from instructor Shelley Row. The class meets October 7, 14, and 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Materials and instruction for framing or mounting your work are included. Registration costs $122 for Garden members and $153 for non-members. Since alcohol inks can stain, wear clothes you don't mind getting messy. If you need accessibility accommodations, contact the Garden at [email protected] or 804-262-9887 ext. 328 to discuss how they can support your participation.
