Our Little Feathered Friends – A Bird Photography Workshop

Get ready to capture stunning images of birds with professional photographer Lynda Richardson, who brings over thirty years of experience photographing wildlife around the globe. This two-part workshop teaches you the fundamentals of bird photography, from understanding bird behavior and finding the best spots to learning patience and technique. You'll discover that while a quality telephoto lens (200mm or longer) helps, there are plenty of tricks to bring birds into focus—even in your own backyard. The first session includes hands-on practice right in the Garden. The second session gives you a chance to share your best shots and learn from fellow participants in a supportive critique setting. You'll need to bring a DSLR camera, telephoto lens, and your camera manual. Registration is required ahead of time. Membership costs $182, and non-member admission is $228. Please note that lunch is your responsibility.
