Propagating Plants as Gifts

Learn how to multiply your favorite plants and turn them into meaningful gifts for loved ones. This hands-on workshop teaches you straightforward propagation techniques that anyone can master. You'll create a succulent propagation wreath to take home, build your own propagation station, and discover easy methods for growing new plants from existing ones. The course is led by Jayton Howard, one of the Garden's experienced horticulturists who has studied plants in Australia and managed a large farm in Hawaii. By the end of the session, you'll leave with the knowledge and supplies needed to share living gifts with family and friends—perfect timing for the holiday season. Registration is required in advance through the Garden's website. Member tickets are $47, and non-member tickets are $59. Since you'll be taking home your creations, please bring a box measuring at least 6 inches by 6 inches or larger.
