PUP READers
Read aloud to a therapy dog at Henrico Library & boost reading confidence while making a furry friend.
PUP READers pairs emerging readers with trained therapy dogs, turning reading practice into a low-pressure, joyful experience. Kids choose a story to share with their canine listener, building confidence and fluency while bonding with an animal companion in a supportive library setting.
