READ to Maggie at Atlee

Children in grades K–3 who are building their reading confidence will enjoy this special 15-minute session with Maggie, a therapy assistance dog. Reading aloud to a calm, supportive animal can help reluctant readers feel more comfortable and enthusiastic about books. It's a low-pressure way for kids to practice their skills in a fun, judgment-free environment. To sign up, contact the Atlee Branch Library at 804-559-0654 or register in person.
