Reader's Theater at The Arc of Hanover

Reader's Theater at The Arc of Hanover brings together adults from the intellectually and developmentally disabled community for an enjoyable group activity. Participants take turns reading aloud from scripts, using their voices to bring characters to life. There's no pressure to memorize lines or worry about costumes and staging—the focus is simply on having fun with stories and building friendships with others who share this interest. This is a relaxed, welcoming program run by volunteers from The Arc of Hanover and the Ashland Branch of the Pamunkey Regional Library. Sessions run for about 45 minutes and repeat monthly. Registration is required, and spaces are limited, so sign up early.
