Reign Dance Project: Stories in Motion

Reign Dance Project: Stories in Motion

Dance and storytelling experience at Children's Museum of Richmond.

Reign Dance Project brings Stories in Motion to the Chesterfield location—a half-hour class where children explore storytelling through movement and dance. Rather than sitting still, kids will get up and move their bodies to connect with narratives in a fun, active way. The session helps develop language skills, gross and fine motor abilities, and gives children practice following multi-step directions while they're actively engaged. This class was created specifically with all children in mind, making it inclusive and welcoming for young learners at various stages. It's a great option if your child enjoys creative movement, dancing, or learning through doing rather than listening. The program combines the best of both literary and physical activity, so kids leave having exercised both their imaginations and their bodies.
