Seymour Grooves with Books! – Downtown

Join us for a fun movement activity at the Downtown Museum! "Seymour Grooves with Books!" invites kids and families to dance together on the museum floor as part of our regular Friday programming. Since the exact time varies each week, check the Seymour cut-out display near the front desk when you arrive to find out when the activity is happening that day. This playful experience supports important early learning skills, including gross motor development, basic counting, listening to directions, and managing emotions. It's a wonderful way for young children to move their bodies, have fun, and build confidence in a supportive museum environment. Best of all, the activity is included free with your regular museum admission—no extra ticket needed.
