Seymour’s Little School – Downtown

Seymour's Little School offers a welcoming introduction to classroom basics for your young learner. Led by Ali, the Family Engagement Manager, this weekly class guides children through familiar routines like circle time, story time, and movement activities. Kids also build important social-emotional skills—sharing, listening, taking turns, and cooperating with peers—while developing gross motor abilities through music and movement. The program is designed for children ages 3–5 and welcomes caregivers to participate. No advance sign-up is needed, though attendance is limited to 12 children per session to keep the group manageable. Best of all, this class is included with your general admission to the Children's Museum of Richmond, so there's no additional charge. Just arrive ready to explore and learn alongside your child.
