Story Time at Pinchot Park
Outdoor story time at Gifford Pinchot State Park—tales in a scenic natural setting.
Your kids will love this weekly outdoor story hour led by Miss Beth from the park and Miss Carol from the library. Each session features nature-themed stories followed by hands-on activities that let children explore and learn about the natural world around them. The group meets at the Sunshine Pavilion in the Conewago Day Use Area, making it an easy stop during a park visit.
This free program runs every Tuesday through early August, so you can make it a regular summer tradition. There's no registration required—just show up and join in. It's a wonderful way for young children to enjoy stories, connect with nature, and make the most of your time at the park without any cost to your family.
