STORYTIME IN THE GARDEN

Stories and nature at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.

Join us for Storytime in the Garden, where children gather to enjoy stories and songs surrounded by the beauty of nature. These sessions happen every Friday and Saturday at 10 a.m. during the growing season, from February through October. Whether it's sunny or rainy, we'll be there—this program helps young learners build early literacy skills while fostering a love of the natural world. Each session wraps up with a hands-on craft activity. The program welcomes children of all ages and abilities, making it a relaxed, inclusive experience for families. Admission to the event is included with regular garden entry fees, and it's completely free if you're a member. Sessions run for one hour, so it's an easy way to spend a morning outdoors while sharing stories and creativity with your little ones.
