STORYTIME IN THE GARDEN

STORYTIME IN THE GARDEN

Stories and outdoor fun at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.

Bring your little ones for an hour of stories and songs nestled in the garden setting. This program welcomes children of all ages and abilities, with a creative craft activity wrapping up each session. The event happens rain or shine, so come ready for whatever the weather brings. If your family enjoys books, nature, and hands-on activities, this is a gentle way to spend a Friday or Saturday morning while building your child's connection to plants and the natural world. Storytime in the Garden is included with regular garden admission, and it's completely free if you're a member. No separate registration is needed—just plan to arrive at 10 a.m. and join in. The garden itself is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., so you can arrive early to explore or stay longer to enjoy the grounds after storytime ends.
