STORYTIME IN THE GARDEN
Story time among the flowers at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
Join us for an outdoor storytime experience set in the gardens, where little ones can listen to stories and songs together while surrounded by nature. This program runs Friday and Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. from February through October, welcoming children of all ages and abilities. The session lasts about an hour and concludes with a hands-on craft activity—a nice way to extend the creative fun beyond the stories themselves.
The best part? This program is included with your regular garden admission, and it's completely free if you're already a member. The event happens rain or shine, so dress accordingly and come ready to explore early literacy and nature together. It's a lovely, low-pressure way to spend a morning while building your child's love of reading and the outdoors.
