STORYTIME IN THE GARDEN
Storytime surrounded by beautiful gardens at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
Join us for Storytime in the Garden, where children gather to enjoy stories and songs surrounded by beautiful plants and nature. This weekly program runs Friday and Saturday mornings during the growing season, creating a wonderful outdoor setting for early readers and their families. Each session includes a craft activity, giving kids a chance to get creative after the stories wrap up. Whether your child is a little listener or already reading along, all ages and abilities are welcome to participate.
What to know: the program happens rain or shine, so bundle up if needed. Your admission to the Gardens covers this activity—it's included with your daytime ticket. Members get in free. Each session lasts about an hour, giving you plenty of time to explore the Gardens before or after if you'd like. This is a great way to combine literacy and nature exploration in one outing with your young ones.
