STORYTIME IN THE GARDEN
Story time among the flowers at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
Bring your little ones to Storytime in the Garden for a morning of books, songs, and nature exploration. Each session runs from 10 to 11 a.m. and combines early literacy with outdoor learning among the beautiful garden grounds. After the stories and singing, kids enjoy a hands-on craft activity to extend the fun. These sessions happen rain or shine, so bundle up if the weather turns chilly—it's all part of the adventure.
This program welcomes children of all ages and abilities, making it inclusive for families with varying needs. The cost is included with your regular garden admission, or if you're a member, it's completely free. Sessions run every Friday and Saturday throughout the season, giving you plenty of opportunities to join in. It's a wonderful way to nurture a love of reading and nature together as a family.
