Tabletop Gaming

Join fellow adults for a day of tabletop roleplaying games at the Mechanicsville Branch. Whether you're interested in the classic Dungeons & Dragons or prefer exploring newer systems like Scum & Villainy or Fabula Ultima, there's something for everyone. The session runs four hours, giving you plenty of time to immerse yourself in adventure—you could become a monster hunter, a knight, a scheming bear, or anything else you imagine. All materials and character-building support are provided, so newcomers are absolutely welcome. The group learns together as you play, making it a relaxed introduction to tabletop gaming if you're just starting out. If you have questions about the games beforehand or need to discuss any accessibility needs, reach out to the library staff or email the organizer. This event is designed for adults 18 and up and repeats monthly throughout the fall and winter.
