Teen Hangout
After-school hangout for 6th–12th graders with games and supervised activities.
Teen Hangout is an after-school program designed for middle and high school students looking for a welcoming place to unwind and have fun. The drop-in program welcomes anyone in grades 6–12 and runs for ninety minutes. Staff members supervise the space and lead various activities and games throughout the session, giving teens plenty of options for how they'd like to spend their time.
No advance sign-up is necessary—just show up whenever works for your schedule. If your teen has questions about the program or needs to discuss any accessibility accommodations, the Mechanicsville Branch Library team is happy to help.
