The Homeschool Collective

Join other homeschooling families for a monthly gathering that gives everyone a chance to connect and grow together. While parents settle into a relaxed discussion group to chat, swap resources, and sometimes hear from guest speakers, children participate in hands-on, guided activities that encourage creativity and curiosity. This month's sessions focus on Woodland Wonders, with kids exploring through art projects, science experiments, storytelling, games, and nature-based learning. The activities work best for ages 5–14, though all ages are welcome. This is a great opportunity for homeschooling families to build community and find support in a warm, welcoming space. Adults and children alike leave with new friendships and a sense of belonging. Registration is required for each person attending, and space is limited to 23 seats. If you have questions about accessibility or special communication needs, reach out to ask@pamunkeylibrary.org or call the Montpelier Branch Library at 804-883-5117.
