Tutus & Ties – Downtown

This half-hour program celebrates creative movement and imaginative play in the Downtown Playhouse. Children are invited to dress up in tutus, ties, or whatever costume pieces inspire them, then spend time moving, dancing, and playing together. It's a wonderful way to let kids burn energy while having fun with peers. Movement-based activities like these support growing minds and bodies—research shows they can boost memory, attention, language skills, and emotional understanding. The program runs just 30 minutes, making it manageable for younger schedules. Admission is included with regular Museum entry, so there's no extra fee for this activity.
