Twisted Stitches
Monthly crochet & craft hangout at VA Maker's Lab where kids make fun projects inspired by shows & games.
Twisted Stitches is a monthly gathering where young crafters learn crochet while creating fun projects inspired by their favorite shows, games, and characters. Whether you're picking up crochet for the first time or already comfortable with a hook and yarn, you'll work on silly and imaginative pieces alongside other fabric artists. All the craft books and supplies you need are provided, though you're welcome to bring your own materials if you prefer.
This relaxed, social event runs for an hour and welcomes tweens and teens in grades 4–12. It's a great way to build a creative skill, make something you'll actually want to keep or gift, and connect with other kids who love making things with their hands. Sessions happen monthly, so you can drop in when it fits your schedule.
