Ukulele for Beginners

**Ukulele for Beginners** Interested in picking up a new musical skill? This beginner workshop introduces adults and high school teens to the ukulele, the iconic Hawaiian instrument. You'll learn how to properly handle the instrument and pick up fundamental chord techniques in a supportive, hands-on setting. The class runs for an hour and a half, giving you plenty of time to get comfortable with the basics. This program is offered in partnership with Virginia Ukapalooza, Inc., bringing experienced instructors to the Sandston Branch Library. Registration is required to secure your spot, and a limited number of seats are available. If the class reaches capacity, observers are welcome to join and watch along.
