VCU Living Lab Research Demos – Downtown

VCU psychology students will be on the museum floor sharing their research through interactive demonstrations as part of the National Living Lab network. You and your family can stop by to watch and learn about the research process firsthand. If you're interested in going deeper, you can also participate in a one-on-one live study focused on children's pre-writing skills, led by researchers from VCU's Department of Occupational Therapy. This is a unique opportunity to see real research in action rather than a typical museum activity. Observation is welcome for everyone, though participation in the actual study is limited to one family at a time and requires your consent. Keep in mind that this isn't a drop-in activity—it's a focused research experience, so expect a more structured environment than your usual museum visit.
